Seasons Of life

When I was berserk,
Imminent to let out a tantrum,
Billowed with uncanny conundrum,
The coronet of patience fortified me.
Triggered and tormented by ice queen
I let fate's snowflakes cover me.
Shivering in the doom of winter
It wasn’t cushy not to malevolent
The frost bites engendering snowflakes.
Indeed tis asinine to ambush the flakes.
Using the snow to build an Igloo
Was the cognizant decision to make
I let fate confiscate my voice
And kismet bequeath the verdict.
As the snow got thicker and thicker
My igloo got more and more potent.
I summoned God as the magistrate
As his sight is unfaltering n impeccable.
Nor did He dare breach my trust!
Under His igloo arms, snuggled I fearlessly,
Ignoring the awry of the weather.
Days faded away, seasons altered
The perfume of blossoms, blossomed me,
It was conspicuous I saw Spring.
Comprehended I, that seasons seldom stagnate
And that for the next winter I must equip.
Circumstances begets you versatile,
Trials spawn you valiant,
Only God permeates you thro’ everything.

Contended before death

It was a dark night. The atmosphere was still, noiseless. The day had been tiresome. I was out of fuel, tired and exhausted. I looked around, it was dense and dark. I was lost and homeless. I had lost all the energy, yet I had little hope that kept me moving. I was feeling very hungry. I kept moving up and down with a blurred vision. Amidst the dark, I spotted a dim light. Since my vision was blurred, I reckoned the light appeared dim to me. I had no idea of the distance, but the existence of a light only struck like a spark to my hope. Clueless of how long it would take me to get there, with great effort I made my way. As I kept nearing, the light seemed to become bigger and brighter. After all I was right! It was a residence!I peered in through the window. I just couldn't take my eyes off what I saw! It was a beautiful young lady! I conceived she was sweet. Her pinkish and glowing cheeks beckoned me.Contend brimmed me with the instinct that my journey had after all not been in vain. I cautiously entered her room, still with eyes fixed on what I saw. Without a second thought I hastened towards the lovely cheeks which beckoned me. In an excitement I gave her a love bite! She screamed! I hid under her bed. Her husband rushed, she complained him of what her senses told her. He looked around, but couldn't spot me. He whispered to her and left the room. I chuckled in victory. In joy, I set for a peaceful night's sleep under her bed. Suddenly I sensed an odour. It was a kind of smoke. I was suffocating. It was stimulating me to faint. I immediately turned towards the window sill. The windows were closed. I realised the horror of the situation. I knew what was happening. Although it was time for me to die, I was contended that I had my stomach filled before death. Like every other helpless mosquitoe, I let myself die in the smoke of the mosquito coil!

Freedom Fighters

Respite and resent, war and truce

Were the part and parcel of the great “Those”

Informidable grit, patience and elegance

Are footprints that we still reminisce.

Unity in diversity and the mosaic of cultures-

Are the lore and lessons we did infer

From the bottom up, to stoop and build

They paved the way for a nation developed

Air of freedom, soil of fraternity

Are the sweet fruits we reap

From the farmers of our nation called “Freedom Fighters”.

Amidst the nonchalance and hassle

Battling in strife for justice,

Our heroes waded through the foggy times.

Their memoirs could disappear into oblivion

But the fruit of their strife, still cascade to each progeny.

Reminiscing them in my journey of life,

Take I pleasure to say Jai Hind!!!

Mother

Pulchritude of tenderness, queen of patience
Is just not what mother has pertinence
She removes the nonchalance
By radiating her genial
Akin the Santa in the winter
And christmas amidst rigorous cold.
She basks her home sunshine
And decs the family with her smile.
Like hedgerows she repress
Although like rose she delights.
The princess is her world
Whose shaping she chores.
She donates her vigilance
From the fragile epoch
Till the mellow state of the child.
She fills the downstream of heart
With the waterfall of her love
And nurtures her children with ineffable love
The ray of her nobility
Could change even the incorrigible
And incredibly erase the indelible.
With the might of love and awe of fervor
She marks the path to move mountains.
A teacher, lover and friend in just one soul!
God's messenger to deliver a soul
Into the planet earth and execute his remit
Of taking care of his new creation efficaciously,
She is the ruler of world and heaven!
A tribute to all angels of earth - "mothers"!

Soothing Fraternity

A warm breeze in summer,
The sweetest perfume of blossoms in spring
A tepid coat in winter
An incredible force to bliss at every moment bring.
Invisible, yet ineffable
Though miles may lie between,
The exchanged affection being indelible
Never can distances screen
One another's love
For this affable special bond
Proves unbreakable, everlasting and above
When flows into the rapport filled pond
And blends with the river of intimacy
Quenching people's thirst for true discernment
Replacing any agony with ecstacy.
A soothing ointment
To any heartbreak mend;
A warm hug in need,
And ever-stretching out helping hand
Plenty of energy does it feed.
Love and understanding are its seeds,
Which reaps a fruitful harvest.
Envy and misunderstanding being its weeds,
Creates a cacaphony of the worst.
Yet true fraternity never dies
And in one-another's heart forever lies..........

Nature's Beauty

As the ball of honey dips into the silver lining
The white sheep stroll lazily n come swimming
As the honey dissolves in the gleam
The red wine cascades out as a stream.
As the glowing silver coronet radiates a smile at its curvature
The sparkling splendors honor the party yonder.
While it goes unnoticed by the busy machines under
For the lack of panorama in an urban area
O Keller! Fail I to honor thy words."
To peer out through the windows of my soul
Stunned by nature's grandeur game of rise and fall

Darkness O'er Her

The light of my life is dwindled,
As a candle, she is put off.
She melted herself outputting her glow;
The fluid she emitted was tears I believed
But finally twas the melting wax I conceived.
The wax from the heat of her glow
Had melted, bringing her down.
Had it not been merely the heat of the glow
But of the destructive and incorrigible one!
"For want of a nail, a shoe was lost,
For want of a shoe, a horse was lost!"
For want of enlightment, a brain was lost,
For want of brain, a soul was lost!
unwarranted agony dissolved her harmony
Superstition enveloped her literacy.
the scenario was swathed with wads of mist
Under the cloudy snow she let herself bury just.
Blind mentally, she drove astray
Envisaging yet ignoring her imminent awry.
her vehicle hit the dead end
And she lay dead in the journey of life.

This poem is written about my aunt who passed away a year ago. She died of tuberculosis, having denied to take treatment for the fear of an injection!!

I Made A Mistake[Just rhyme, fun one]
I went to the bathroom to have a bath,
I made a mistake.......and slipped on the path!

I went to the school to learn some rhyme,
I made a mistake......and was caught for not reaching in time!

I went to the terrace to salute the sun,
I made a mistake........and landed on the bin!

I went to granny's house to give her company,
I made a mistake...and was fired for not having looked after mummy!

I went to the refrigerator 2 eat the chocolates yummy,
I made a mistake......and ended up aching my tummy!

I went to the market to get some cabbage,
I made a mistake.......and was carried away in the vegetable carriage!

I went to the doc' for getting some treatment,
I made a mistake.........and tore my garment!

I went to the church to marry Jane,
I made a mistake.......she turned out to be a nun!

I went to the party to meet my friends,
I made a mistake.......and was made clammy with cakes and buns!

I went to Roja's house to play,
I made a mistake.....she began to bray!

I went to the kitchen to have some tea,
I made a mistake....and drank the ghee!

I went to the window to see the bright ray,
I made a mistake......and got locked inside all day!

I went to the teacher to learn some Math,
I made a mistake..........and fell into the boiling froth!
I Fear not for He will Leave me not
Neither can anything to me harm,
Nor will I be tempted by worldly charm;
Determined will I stand firm
Even in rain, snow or severe storm.
Always will I stay alarm
And in a quandary remain calm.
In a stress will I receive soothing balm
And when things go wrong, easily it darn;
Though small as a worm Or smaller than a germ
Even in blazing fire will I not burn
Or in difficulties apprehend and run.
Will I fear not even in a war if I stand unarmed
When dearest Lord I'm snuggled under thy precious arms!

Boyfriends and girlfriends

"Boyfriends and girlfriends"; there, I've caught all the youngsters' attention. In today's world, having bfs and gfs seems to be a mania and a fashion. At age 17, it does not seem to matter if you have excelled in the academics in the final year of schooling, but if you have got a bf/gf. People who havent, are considered to be odd. They develop afeel of being out of the crowd. They get a shilly-shally if they are eccentric if they dont do what their peers do. This bubbles up with the false impressions created by the movies. "Love at first sight", "No caste nor creed for love", "Love bloomed in seconds", along with catchy, yet less practical punch dialogues by popular actors deceives and corrupts the minds of the viewers, because of which the youth dont even get to understand the distinction between "love" and "infatuation". Being obssessed about a paramour, the crazy feel of being ready to jump from a hill top, tearing one's hand with a blade, getting written an eve4rlasting mark of his/her name on the body IS NOT LOVE. Those are simply signs of infatuation. Knowing a person completely, getting to know his/her strength, weaknesses, vices ans virtues and still having a rapport in the relationship and a harmony between the hearts, with an assurance that he/she will lead a harminious life with his/her spouse IS LOVE. The concept of having a crush might be enchanting. But once, one comes out of it after having had crush he/she will realise how foolish they had been. But when they do, it might be too late, for, it might have costed their time, thinking and sometimes een life! Pre-marital sex might be charming. But its aftermath would be too painful[physically and mantally] to bear. One might have to face dangerous and incurable diseases like AIDS, pregnancy before marriage and other unspoken problems. Once the character is lost, then everything else will be lost. After all, will all these be worth the time? Arent we all born to accomplish something? "Love" is not a sin. But it relies on who does it. One cannot get a true love between the age of 16 and 20, when only then one seeks an identity for himself/herself and in the proces of knowing the real outside world. It is rightly said, "Appearances are deceptive" and "Look before you leap". A handsome guy and an ugly girl neednt be the same at heart. The former might turn out to be a devil while the latter might turn out to be an angel. "So how do I overcome the temptation? It is all age factor that tempts us towards such things" might be the immediate thought that pops up in one's mind. A clear understanding of truth and reality can help achieve thet. An awareness of the sexually transmitted diseases and the problems caused by it is necessary. Whenever you get to see someone as your bf/gf try to answer these questions.
1.Have I attained the age of marriage?[If no, why should you think of choosing your life partner now?]
2.Do I know this person completely?[If no, the feeling you have developed is surely infatuation]
There is nothing wrong in checking out his/her caste[If you have belief in it] for life and love are going to be the same when it comes to chosing your life partner. If you are certain that you have developed an infatuation towards a person, then these are the queries to be answered:-
1.Is it going to be worth my time?
2.Will it lead to any danger?
Whenever you get the feel of having pre-marital sex, then answer these
1.Will I be able to face pregnancy before marriage?[If its a female]
Will I be able to face dangerous diseases like AIDS, gonorrhea and chlamydia?
Sometimes one might be under the illusion of having had a protected sex. But if the sperm guard fails, they will be compelled to face unspoken problems. So teens and youngsters, have all these in mind and lead a secured and disciplined life. Dont forget - "Attitude determines your altitude" and hence "Look before you leap"!
