Cause=>consequence=>Correction

Complacency, although a sign of magnanimity
Human tendency belies misfortune.
For someone who yearns to aggrandize
A coercive hiatus darts and shatters.
Although birds of same feathers only flock
All birds do aspire to fly!
Consecrated not as holy but solitary
Hardens pliancy and nurtures reprehensibility.
Vicissitudes can beleaguer and deter.
Transforming it into self pity or serendipity
"Lies in the eyes of the beholder",
Is a plausible way to find solace.
Had I made my first decision obstinately,
I needn't be suffering abstemiously.
Its indeed afflicting receiving affront
But to retrospect and introspect
Is the maneuver to grapple.
To err is human,
To correct is the fruition!

"Mom"- our family's super woman!

Leaping before looking, we fell into the deep well
Only believing that All's well that ends well.
The darkness inside, you dared at night
Scampering around and mustered all your might.
Those tireless days you did endure
And sleepless nights you spent for maneuver.
Arrows from all sides against us darted-
"Excellent! We can attack in any direction!",you said.
Although humor subtle and fear intensified,
We snuggled tight and in unison prayed.
God seldom appeared to grant weapon
But for every effort gave a lesson.
Lessons about lies and truth, life and death;
It rained ceaselessly and thundered fearfully.
The bright colors were washed away
And true colors of friends and foe exposed.
Gracious god guarded from going astray
Although could we have in the floods drowned.
You made a boat and in it we sailed,
Storm was fierce and threatened to sink.
You made a yacht and we spite the storm;
Weather was bad and waves showed high,
God was by, and anxiously we did sigh.
He seldom stopped the storm or the rain
But taught construction of boat to always reign.
Boat kept swaying and journey was scared,
Even in summer you often got seared.

Time pushed us into water & we lost the boat:
You caught a ship's hull and we caught you.
You were heavier, yet you held hard,
Your hands turning red, you still held.
One day we reached the shore
And peacefully inhaled the free air.
As a super woman who never let us drown,
You look back at the journey to make a frown.
I look at the ships and optimistically point-
"A ship is always safe at the harbor,
But that's not what its built for!!!"
Lets stoop and collect the tools and debris,
At harbor, we're assigned to build a ship,
Remember, we too can save a drowning sailor
For god's kindness are meant to share
And never forget to look before you leap!

A Boy's Love Letter

Your tone is mellifluous as a flute
Oh honey! On you I dote.
Out of my vocabulary n repertoire flow,
A poetry reflecting my heart's glow.
Even my ostentatious lilt dissolves into silence
As I swallow my words in love menace.
Elevated into a world of frenzied fantasy
I'm blinded 'n' hovered by exciting ecstasy!
Earth shrinks into a marble, glossy,
And my love magnifies into a canopy.
Sea and sky blends into a horizon,
Blend our love to spawn eternal passion.
The stars wait to adorn your presence
When you smile yielding bliss ambiance!
Come make me exclusively yours
Lets feel the magic of heavenly hours!

Every girl's love story

She lifted her head as gently as the morning flowers and shot a glistening look at the sky and said, "Tell your stars that I'm your moon." Sky still remained still. As the stars grew brighter each day, she dissolved day by day and one fine day, she was gone. Sky was still jeweled by stars and he was still happy. The next day there was a storm and the stars vanished swiftly leaving behind the empty sky. A crescent came evolving. There she stood - "moon". She stood by him all through the thunder and lightning. Climate changed, the night was warm and the twinkles were back in form. She wasn't unusual though. She was still crescent, still fragile, still white and still pure! She gently let the clouds pass through her and minutely motioned through her rotation. Her father sun, gave her light to light the dark sky eternally. She did not ask the sky again nor did he echo it around. But everyone knew the truth. Down on earth, a mother pointed out at her and said,"Darling look at the moon" and fed dhal rice into her baby's mouth.
