Hi, I’m Malavikka.

I’m a senior content professional with over a decade of experience turning complex products and ideas into clear, useful content. I’ve worked as a technical writer, UX writer, instructional designer, communications specialist, SEO content writer and reporter, for clients ranging from global technology companies to news organizations.

What I do best

• Help center and product documentation that users understand, including a help center project followed by a 58% drop in support tickets in three months
• Screen-by-screen UX content created with designers and product owners
• Training courses and user manuals for technology products
• Won a world record for my contribution as Director of Content Strategy, Mission ShakthiSAT, a space mission where I also mentored a team of 5 interns. 
• Community building and stakeholder communication

How I work
I like to understand the product before I write about it. I work closely with product owners, designers, engineers and support teams, and I keep projects on schedule across time zones.

Where I’m headed
I’m building on my writing experience to lead content work: setting direction, mentoring writers and shaping content strategy.

Outside work
I’ve written and published three books. I teach free English lessons to children, run a 14000 member women community, and actively contribute to various community services.
